I have been advising and coaching students and colleagues and leadership for decades, sometimes formally and sometimes informally. Since launching Beatitudo, I have been inundated with sales pitches for courses to help me structure my coaching into some sort of proprietary model that can be packaged and sold to the masses.
Here’s the problem with that, though. I don’t follow one coaching model for every person or situation. Sometimes the person needs straightforward, honest feedback and support to create a plan of action. Sometimes they need someone to be a sounding board for their ideas to help them clarify their position or message. For most people in leadership it’s just a matter of having an outside party to talk to that isn’t financially or emotionally invested in whatever they are facing. I focus on people in leadership positions, owners and executives, who need to tackle an issue or a belief that is holding them or their company back. Pre-packaged coaching systems can be too generalized to address the specific needs of leaders who are feeling stuck.
Different Names for Similar Frameworks
There are lots of coaching methodologies out there. Many of them are quite good, and might be right for you. Here are some descriptions of some common frameworks out there:
The Beatitudo Approach
If you want something different, something focused on your situation and your company’s future, reach out to us here.
We aren’t going to try and fit you into a framework. We are here to listen, ask questions, and coach you to ask the right questions that support your goals. We also understand that neurodivergent learners need the right communication style for their learning style.
We will tell you what you need to hear, even if it wasn’t what you wanted to hear.
If you want a pre-packaged framework, there are plenty out there to choose from. If you need a mentor and advisor who isn’t afraid to ask the tough questions and tell you the hard stuff, we do that.
